We have developed a unique process that allows us to locate and fix the Waterproofing issue right the first time. In many situations we have found more than one leak associated at the same location. For example water is getting through a small crack in the stucco into the building. Secondly, at the same time the water test discovers that a window is has a small leak that is causing the dry rot.

Exterior window  repairs

Water intrusion from old or wrongly installed windows can cause damage to the interior of the property, affecting drywall, insulation, flooring. If not caught on time, can most likely cause dry rot and therefore develop into a mold condition, which needs to be treated properly in order to mitigate the microbial growth and protect from spreading around and cause cross contamination to other areas in the property.

The solution: remove and replace all affected materials. Inspect the window once the drywall is removed, apply water to the exterior of the window to locate the origin of the leak. Check if window is installed properly. If possible we need to remove and reinstall the window or replace with a new one.

Once installed, we will perform another water test to ensure that there is no more leaks, then install insulation and drywall to complete the project –

Crawlspace Water Management

Some properties are located in a high water table or down the hill and these houses can collect and keep the water under the house for a long period of time, which can cause serious damage to building materials, framing and indoor air quality in the house.

We can install moisture barriers to keep the water below from being in contact with the crawlspace therefore keeping it dry.
