By looking at the pictures you can tell that continuously leaking shower valve caused major dry rot damage in this house, we also have to do a Mold Remediation to complete this Water Damage project.
This was a Water Damage call, customer explained over the phone that in the hallway they have started to notice paint chips on the hardwood floor, and a wet smell, that they did not have before.
John Petrov responded to this phone call, he inspected the hallway area with his Infrared Camera and moisture meter, finding that the wall behind the shower was soaking wet, after locating the source that was the shower valve only leaking when in use, he set up time for the next day to go back and set up Containment barrier, cut and remove the affected drywall, our plumber was also sent to replace the shower valve.
John and Stefan were able to remove all the Mold and Remediate the area, framing was wet as well so before instaling new drywall, they have set up Water Damage drying equipment to Dry the structure. ones the Moisture was bought back to normal, drywall was installed , texture, paint.
