Dryfast was called out to do a half-million dollar remodel of a home in the lower Haight –San Francisco.
The house was a stately, 3-story Victorian with a basement and a large garden. However, the previous owners had neglected to take care of the beautiful building. The new owner needed it completely remodeled, brought up to date with modern codes and style. So he called us and we got to work.

Our construction experts dug up the basement to accommodate a whole new first level, transforming the house into a 4-story, two unit building. The second floor was overhauled, with the walls taken down. We then connected the two new internal floors with a set of stairs, allowing for access within the building.

The master bedroom was thoroughly transformed by our skilled workers, with tasteful new closets.

It was connected to a newly rebuilt, enlarged kitchen, which we outfitted with high-end appliances and cabinets that alone cost more than $600,000.

The bedroom was also connected to a studio decked out in solid oak, with custom baseboards and windows.

Finally, we added three new bathrooms, bringing the total to five. They were outfitted with the latest environmentally friendly taps and piping, all done by our in-house team of plumbing technicians.

The remodel was originally scheduled to take five months, but we finished a month ahead of time. The customer is delighted. “Dryfast got the job done within our time schedule and budget. I’m very happy with the work that was done,” he told us.
